- The Quayle estate was called Ballatrolleg in the treen of Greneby
- Jony Madrell was the wife of John Quayle. She and her husband both died in in 1729 - Only Jony left a will in which her bequests were mainly to her daughters - Jony (Shimmin), Katherine (Bridson) & Elizabeth, although the children of her son John were also mentioned, a strong indicatin that this Quayle family had 4 surviving children
- John Quayle the son became the sole tenant of Ballatrolleg in 1731 after the death of his father (LV 1731)
- Children recorded for John jnr & Margaret: Jane (1720), John (1721), William (1723-1729), Robert (1725), Anthony (1727), ?Ann (1726), Isabel (1730)
